Palworld Version Updates & Data Status

A source-linked timeline of official Palworld 1.0 updates and the local game build used to verify Pal Breed Calc.

Last updated: 2026-08-06

How to read this page

This page records only changes that can be traced to an official Pocketpair announcement. It separates the game's published patch notes from this site's data snapshot, so a Steam build ID is not silently presented as a named game version.

The latest local data audit used:

  • Steam AppID 1623730
  • Steam build 24467282
  • PAK SHA-256 a82fee669e60558db5adc409c8607bb6c06b8a4d4c984317f9a37415461e7119
  • Detail and media verification date: 2026-08-05

The build ID above is evidence for the extracted files, not an unsupported claim that the files are identical to a particular announcement build.

Palworld 1.0 — official release

Release: July 10, 2026 · Official Pocketpair release changelog

The official changelog announces:

  • 72 new Pals, taking the official launch headline to 287 Pals.
  • Sunreach, the World Tree, new islands and settlements, and broad world/habitat changes.
  • The player level cap increased from 65 to 80.
  • Awakening and Mutation systems, plus rebalanced Pal stats and abilities.
  • A full review of breeding combinations and progression balance.
  • Large changes to bases, multiplayer, the map, technology, sound, optimization, UI, and bug fixes.

The launch headline of 287 is the number stated in the official release note. The site's current audited dataset contains 299 local-PAK entries, including 11 non-numbered Terraria collaboration entries; those are different scopes and are not presented as the same count.

What this means for this site

The local PAK comparison is recorded in the repository audit files, not inferred from the patch headlines:

  • 299/299 website Pal records match the local parameter table for code, official English name, Paldeck number, element, CombiRank, and male probability.
  • 299/299 match for the published attack, defense, HP, rarity, and work-suitability values.
  • 299/299 generated detail records match the mapped game parameters field by field.
  • 136/136 cross-species special combinations in the website data are present in DT_PalCombiUnique.
  • Katress + Wixen has two game-defined outcomes because the source rows use opposite parent-gender requirements; the calculator displays both instead of dropping one.
  • The calculator currently identifies 26 Pals that have no parent pair from two other species in the audited breeding graph. This is why older copy claiming 28 has been corrected.

The full row-by-row evidence is maintained during development as docs/research/palworld-site-game-audit.md, with the complete machine-readable records in the adjacent .csv and .json files. The report also names the seven game-table rows outside this site's 299-entry scope and marks the site's mutation flag as unverified by the compared parameter table.

Scope and correction policy

This is not a claim that every historical Early Access patch has been reconstructed. Only the official announcements listed above and the local PAK snapshot are included here. When a future local game build is obtained, the site data should be re-run through the same field-level comparison before the verification date or “latest” status is changed.

If you find a result that disagrees with your installed version, send the exact game build, parent species, parent genders if relevant, and observed child. A reproducible report can be compared against the next extracted source snapshot.
