Cookie Policy
What cookies and browser storage Pal Breed Calc uses and how you can control optional services.
Last updated: 2026-07-18
Overview
This policy explains how Pal Breed Calc uses cookies and similar browser storage. Necessary storage keeps the site secure and remembers choices you request. Optional analytics and support services load only after you grant the relevant permission in our privacy settings.
Necessary storage
Necessary storage may include:
- A session cookie when you create an account or sign in.
- A language preference so English or Chinese pages remain selected.
- Theme and interface preferences stored in your browser.
pbc_privacy_consent, which records your optional-service choices for up to 180 days.
These items are not used for advertising and cannot be disabled through our preference panel because the corresponding feature would not work reliably without them. You can still delete them in your browser.
Analytics
When you accept analytics, the site may load Google Analytics 4 or Plausible. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, receive your IP address, browser and device details, referring page, visited pages, and interaction events, and process this information under Google's terms. We configure GA4 with IP anonymization and do not send names or email addresses in analytics events.
If you reject analytics, those scripts are not loaded by Pal Breed Calc. Withdrawing consent sends a denied Consent Mode signal, removes first-party GA cookies we can identify on this domain, and reloads the page when needed to stop previously loaded scripts.
Support and sign-in helpers
If enabled by the site operator and accepted by you, optional services such as a customer-support chat or Google One Tap may load third-party code and storage. These services are not required to use the calculator; ordinary sign-in remains available without One Tap.
Advertising
Pal Breed Calc does not currently enable Google ad serving. If AdSense is introduced, Google and other approved advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and prior visits to this or other sites to serve and measure personalized or non-personalized ads.
Before ads are enabled for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will activate a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. That advertising consent flow is separate from the optional analytics controls on this site.
Change your choices
Use Privacy choices in the footer at any time to accept, reject, or change optional analytics and support services. You can also block or delete cookies using your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out or reset your preferences.
For more detail about data use and third-party providers, read our Privacy Policy. Questions can be submitted through the Contact page.
