A transparent starting pair selected by low combined Paldeck number. Paldeck order does not guarantee spawn difficulty, level, biome access, gender, or passive quality. Every listed pair produces the same Pierdon egg, so use this row only if it suits your Palbox; otherwise filter for parents you already own.

Target-specific route analysis

How to choose a Pierdon breeding route

This page contains 269 mixed-species routes to Pierdon, built from 187 distinct parent species. The target's CombiRank is 1110, while the working pairs span calculated parent averages from 1100–1110. Those figures explain why the combinations resolve to this child; they do not rank combat power or tell you which parents are easiest in your save. The useful decision is narrower: choose a valid pair you can obtain with the fewest extra breeds, then protect the passives, talents, active skills, and genders that matter to the finished line.

How flexible is this target?

Pierdon is a highly flexible target: 269 mixed pairs draw from 187 parent species, and 269 pairs use two numbered Paldeck entries. Those options cover 9 parent element labels, so many different Palboxes can reach the same species without following one famous recipe. Start by searching the list for a parent you already use in a passive line, then look for its matching partner. With this many routes, breeding two new parents solely because they appear at the top of a guide is usually less efficient than adapting the result graph to your existing collection.

For Pierdon, the listed breeding-power value is 1110, and valid parent averages on this page fall within 1100–1110. CombiRank is a species-resolution tool: the normal formula chooses the eligible child closest to the pair average, while hardcoded special recipes can override it. A lower or higher number here is not a verdict on HP, attack, work suitability, rarity, capture difficulty, or endgame value. Use rank to verify why a child appears, then return to the parent names and your actual inventory for the practical choice.

Which parent pair should you use?

The page's low-Paldeck-number starting point is Polapup + Univolt Cryst. It is worth checking first because both names appear relatively early in Paldeck order, but Paldeck position is only a transparent convenience heuristic—not proof of spawn level, rarity, biome access, gender availability, or passive quality. Anubis appears in 3 working pair(s), making it the most reusable parent name in this target's current list. If you already own that species with useful inherited traits, filter for it; otherwise, a different complete pair already in your Palbox is almost always faster than manufacturing both recommended parents from scratch.

A species calculator can guarantee the expected child for a valid pair, but it cannot guarantee the child's gender, passive set, talents, active skills, Alpha status, or Mutation. Evaluate those probability-based qualities separately. For the first target hatch, prioritize a route that simply works and uses available parents; reserve expensive quality optimization for a stable same-species line unless a particular passive must travel through the mixed route.

Three route shapes worth comparing

Low Paldeck-number check

Polapup + Univolt Cryst

A transparent list-order heuristic for finding familiar parents. Confirm real availability in your own save before treating it as easiest.

Closest parent ranks

Pierdon + Polapup Terra

These parents differ by 10 breeding-rank points. That explains the route shape but does not improve inheritance odds.

Widest parent-rank spread

Bastigor + Sweepa

These parents differ by 2100 breeding-rank points, showing how far apart two valid inputs can be. It is an illustration, not a quality ranking.

A reliable Pierdon breeding project

Treat the project as two separate problems. First solve the deterministic species route: select a listed male and female pair, stock enough Cake for retries, and hatch Pierdon. Then solve the probability problem: the configured target split is 50% male and 50% female, so you may need extra eggs before the line has a useful opposite-gender pair. Once two target-species parents exist, same-species breeding keeps the species stable while you consolidate desired passives or talents. This sequence makes failures diagnosable and avoids spending premium resources on temporary intermediates.

  1. 1. Search both parent names against Pals you can actually assign to a Breeding Farm, not merely Paldeck sightings.
  2. 2. Use standard resources to establish the first Pierdon; verify the expected child before repeating the batch.
  3. 3. Keep useful genders and inherited traits, then build a same-species Pierdon line for quality work.
  4. 4. Recheck the calculator after any patch that changes Pals, special recipes, Mutation, Cakes, or inheritance rules.

Method note: route counts and examples are calculated from the same 299-species graph used by the live calculator, last verified August 5, 2026. The low-Paldeck and rank-gap examples are labeled heuristics chosen to explain the data; they are not fabricated spawn advice, official recommendations, or substitutes for your save state.

How this result is verified

The list combines the extracted special-combination rows with the site's CombiRank reconstruction and preserves gender-dependent outcomes. It is a data-backed result graph, not a claim that every displayed field came from one literal table row.

How Breeding Works in Palworld 1.0

Every combination on this page assumes your base already has the breeding pipeline set up. The same four steps apply to any Pal:

  1. 1

    Unlock the Breeding Farm

Reach Technology level 19 and build the Breeding Farm at your base - breeding is unavailable before that point.

  2. 2

    Bake a Cake

Each egg costs one Cake (5 Flour, 8 Red Berries, 7 Milk, 8 Eggs, 2 Honey), cooked at a Cooking Pot (Technology level 17). Place it in the Breeding Farm's chest.

  3. 3

Pair a male and a female

Assign one male and one female parent to the farm. Gender is rolled per capture, so you may need to catch a few of a species to get both.

  4. 4

    Hatch the egg

Collect the egg and place it in an Egg Incubator. Larger eggs take longer, and keeping the incubator at a comfortable temperature shortens the wait.

Pierdon Breeding FAQ

What Pals do I breed to get Pierdon in Palworld?

There are 270 parent combinations that produce Pierdon in Palworld 1.0, and any pair from the list yields a Pierdon egg at the Breeding Farm. Breeding uses a hidden CombiRank: a pair's child is the species whose rank sits closest to the average of the two parents' ranks, while 136 hardcoded cross-species combos override the formula. One gender-specific pair can have two audited outcomes, which are both listed. Before you start, you need a Breeding Farm (Technology level 19), one male and one female parent, and a Cake (5 Flour, 8 Red Berries, 7 Milk, 8 Eggs, 2 Honey) in the farm's chest.

Is this Pierdon combo list updated for Palworld 1.0?

Yes. Every combination on this page comes from the revised Palworld 1.0 breeding data - the reconstructed CombiRank rule plus 136 cross-species special combos that override it - and is checked against extracted game tables and reproducible in-game outcomes. The 1.0 update changed many Early Access results: some old fusion recipes were removed entirely, and 26 Pals now only breed true in the audited graph, so guides written before release are often outdated. Two same-species fallbacks are documented separately from literal table rows. The data here was last verified on 2026-08-05 and is re-checked after every Palworld patch that touches Pals or breeding.

What is the fastest way to breed Pierdon?

The fastest route depends on the Pals you already own. Open the Breeding Path Planner, select your current Pals, and it computes the chain with the fewest breeding steps that ends in Pierdon. As a rule of thumb, prefer a combination whose parents are common early-game spawns over one that needs rare late-game species, and stock several Cakes before you start - each egg consumes one, and a multi-step chain burns through them quickly. If you plan to keep breeding Pierdon, hatch two of opposite genders so the pair can produce further eggs on its own.
